Recently I took part in an amazing Photography project called the 50 over 50 Project with Award winning Sumico Photography on Tedder ave Gold Coast, 50 portraits of 50 woman over the age of 50!
A celebration of the diversity, strength, beauty, essence and wisdom of woman in their 50’s, 60,s, 70,s and beyond. I am sharing this experience and my story along with all of the 50/50 woman to inspire others, and show the world that Beauty doesn’t diminish with age. I found this experience not only a lot of fun with Sumico, it was a positive uplifting one as well. Sharing my story to inspire others was empowering, it was a moment of reflection, a celebration of everything I have experienced, overcome and achieved in my 55 years. I thank Sumico for creating this important project, not only has it been a deeply personal growth experience for the 50/50 woman, you are all courageous for stepping out, it is important to show we have so much to share that others can learn from, exciting new things to experience. Lets turn around negative stereotypes, and enjoy the privilege of becoming older.
